Balham "Keep It Local"

Keep it local’ weekend

The Balham Partnership is hosting a special weekend of fun, food and shopping. The ‘Keep it local' weekend takes place on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 September in Hildreth Street, Balham.

During the event local people can discover the trendy shops, tasty food shops, swanky restaurants, high-class beauty salons and other businesses on their doorstep.

On Saturday, September 29 from 11am to 5pm the best of the Balham business community will be promoting themselves as part of a Family Fun Day in Hildreth Street.

Chadwick’s Organic Butchers will be putting on a barbeque, Shalimar Sweets will be giving out free samples and Independent MindBodySoul will launching their new Aveda Mens Range. Bertie and Boo’s Café will be providing a range of entertainment for children, including stilt walkers, balloon makers and magic shows. For a list all participating businesses click here.

On Sunday from 10am to 2pm visitors to Hildreth Street can enjoy the sounds of a live Jazz band whilst shopping at the weekly Sunday Farmers Market. For further information on the Farmers Market click here (link to Hildreth Street Market Page)
