(Kim) This week I have been busy working with Rocco Buonvino on the finishing touches for this year’s Balham Street Festival, which will take place in Hildreth Street on Sunday 8th August from 1pm to 5pm.

Presented once again by Tony Moore & Fayon Cottrell, the festival returns with another massive line-up of 12 local music acts over 4 hours, each performing 3 songs on a quick on-off stage turnaround…and what a special line up this year!
Amongst this year line-up we see the return of Lou Jordan as Elvis – who last year shuck Balham! He will open the show, and the very ultimate ‘Imagine the Beatles’ band will end the day with all your favorite Beatles hits. Also on stage is a very special Tribute to Edith Piaf by the incredible Susan Black, and more still a special appearance by Lenny Zakatek, the true voice of The Alan Parsons Project.Others include the very ultimate in new talent with Maria Infantino, the daughter of the legendary opera star Luigi Infantino.
There will be a fashion show at 2.15 and stalls throughout Hildreth Street offering spritzers, bellinis, smoothies, soft drinks, ice creams, lasagne, olive oil, children’s clothes, jewellery, scarfs, free face painting and more.
A big thank you to all our sponsors- Evolve Magazine, Wandsworth Council, The Balham Partnership, Hot Bikram Yoga, Harrisons, Newridge and Robbies Photographics.
